Here at Woodside Lodge, we are constantly striving for improvement, and our kitchen is at the heart of our development. Throughout the year we are constantly adapting the menu to our local micro-seasons in the West of Scotland.

With the finest local Scottish produce, our chef creates dishes that impress and exhilarate even the most cultured palates, ranging from winter tasting menus to outdoor fresh seafood grills in summer. All our guests can choose from a range of dining locations, whether you want to savour your first langoustine in the orangery or enjoy the sound of a perfectly matched wine opening in the Arts & Crafts dining room, the experience will be one you will not forget.

Not forgetting, all of our cocktails are designed with the Kitchen Garden in mind. Our head mixologist at Woodside Lodge provides all the essential ingredients to infuse our local spirits. Like our food, our aim is to provide high-quality products in the most sustainable, local and resourceful way possible.

Stronchullin Farm

Poultry

An award-winning local farm in Argyll and Bute, situated south of Finart Bay, and northwest of Cove Bay. A family-run farm that produces free range products across the Cowal Peninsula. Their goal is to maintain the highest quality produce achieved by their diligent care of their livestock, which provides them with the best nutritious food they can source.

Argyll Coffee Roasters

Coffee

Roasting small batches of speciality-grade coffee at a roastery in Tighnabruaich on Argyll’s Secret Coast in Scotland. Sourcing the finest beans from around the world they create a range of seasonal single origin coffees and blends. We also share their belief in sustainability and paying a fair price to growers. All the coffee is fully traceable to origin and 100% Arabica.

Fyne Ales

Fyne Ales is an independent Scottish farm brewery. When the Delap family founded the brewery in 2001, their goal was not only to make the best quality beer, but to bring jobs, industry and tourism to the local community and our quiet corner of rural Scotland.The Argyll location, part of a 4500 acre stretch of glen owned by the Delap family for generations, is a key part of who they are. Working in harmony with the environment, drawing brewing water from the hills, using solar energy to power the Brewery Tap, and feeding herds of highland cattle and red deer using spent grain from the brewing process. All this tying in with our sustainability mission and staying local.

At Loch Fyne Oysters, they pride themselves on the provenance, quality and sustainability. Loch Fyne started with one inspirational idea; to grow oysters in the clear, fertile waters of Loch Fyne. They have developed into a cluster of businesses whose success is built on an honest approach to superb quality food.

Arts & Crafts Dining Room

Decorated in the Arts & Crafts style of the early 20th Century, the Dining Room can seat 7 to 18.

Features include fine examples of original stained-glass windows by Daniel Cottier, hand-painted wallpaper and parquet flooring.
