We like to think of the area around The Lodge as location heaven.
Forests, mountains, lochs, sea, waterfalls – all are within a 30-minute journey of the venue.
Our iconic Treehouse often gets all the attention, but our Summerhouse is equally photogenic, never mind the main Lodge building, the Boathouse, the Greenhouse…
The main building at the Lodge is an Arts and Crafts era building, and it is full of period details and features. Ideal as props or backdrops for shots and as individual as each shoot needs to be.
The Lodge on Loch Goil consists of 7 luxuriously decorated bedrooms in the main building, and another in the lochside summerhouse, all with their own character.
Argyll is home to an abundance of food suppliers and an eclectic range of wild foods. It’s important to us at The Lodge to eat with the seasons, blending traditional and modern food together with a sprinkle of what this area has to offer.
The Lodge is just over an hour’s drive from Glasgow Airport.
Alternatively, the newly re-opened Caledonian Sleeper Service runs overnight from London to Scotland, stopping at nearby Arrochar Train Station where we can arrange transfers to the venue.
Allowing you to arrive refreshed and increasing your shoot’s green credentials at the same time.
