Planes, Trains, Automobiles and Boats
The Lodge on Loch Goil is just over an hour’s drive from Glasgow, but can just as easily be reached by train or boat. Understandably famously scenic, the West Highland train line stops in nearby Arrochar and Tarbet, where we can arrange for our driver to pick you up for the short journey to Loch Goil. Newly reopened, the Caledonian Sleeper service now connects this line with London, allowing guests to arrive refreshed and ready to go.
Two moorings are available at The Lodge for yacht and boat-owners. Just over 16 Nautical miles from Kip Marina, you can choose to stay with us overnight or book afternoon tea, lunch or dinner as a non-resident (pre-booking required).
The Ultimate wedding venue
We’ve been hosting weddings for two decades and still love it as much as we did when we started.
We pride ourselves on our versatility, and offer a range of locations for your special day – the Treehouse, the Orangery, the Terrace, the Arts & Crafts Room, the shore of the Loch – the choice is yours.
A place to stay, relax, unwind and sleep: long nights and log fires.
The Lodge on Loch Goil boasts 7 luxuriously decorated bedrooms in the main building, and another in the lochside summerhouse.
